Senior People Operations Manager

Rethink what People Ops can do with AI.

We’re looking for someone who sees opportunities to work smarter, challenges how things have always been done, and uses AI and automation to solve real operational problems as we scale.

As a senior individual contributor, you’ll own initiatives end to end, combining practical People Operations expertise with the ability to build smarter, more automated ways of working across the employee lifecycle.

The job

Taptap Send is growing, with hubs in London, Paris, New York, Dubai and Morocco. You'll shape how its People function scales internationally.

• Open new countries for hiring: take a jurisdiction from entity and payroll set-up through contracts, benefits and local compliance, so the business can hire there cleanly.

• Own employee relations: sensitive cases, performance processes and investigations, working closely with Legal. The calls that need the most care are yours.

• Automate payroll, then keep going: build payroll into a streamlined, automated operation across markets, then apply the same thinking to onboarding, offboarding and contractor management.

• Keep every market compliant: stay aligned with local labour law as the business operates and expands.

• Land projects end to end: scope, drive and deliver improvements to how the function runs, using people data and automation to make processes more efficient, consistent and scalable.

Why you'll want it

Put AI and automation into practice. Go beyond using AI to write emails or summarise documents. Build workflows, automate repetitive processes and find practical ways to eliminate manual work across People Operations.

Build from scratch, more than once. Each new jurisdiction is a fresh build: entity, payroll, contracts, benefits.

Stay hands-on at senior level. You set the approach and see it through yourself.

Do it for people worth getting it right for. Your colleagues span 50+ nationalities. Their work moves billions of dollars a month to families in Africa, Asia and Latin America, paying for school fees, rent and medical bills.

Is this you?

You've spent 8+ years in People Ops, HR or a similar operational role, ideally across several countries.

You've handled employee relations and performance cases, and set up or run employment in more than one jurisdiction.

You've personally built or implemented automations using AI and other technologies to solve operational challenges. You know how to identify opportunities, experiment with tools and turn ideas into workflows that actually work.

When business priorities and the employee experience pull in different directions, you weigh both and make the call.

Location

London, Dubai or New York. This is an in-person role, with five days a week in the office. As we scale internationally, in-person collaboration is important to how we work, solve problems and build together.
