Manager; Trade Finance (Corporate) at NMB Bank November 2026
Job Location :
Head Office, Hq
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify Trade Finance deals with corporate clients with a focus on Construction, Telecom and Key Public Institutions Corporate.
- Work closely with RMs and Credit Origination team on structuring and execution of deals and pipeline management.
- Monitoring utilization of approved Trade Finance facilities and performance for corporate Customers.
- Formulating strategy that ensures portfolio growth.
- Participate jointly with RMs in clients visit to identify business progress as well as opportunities to provide solutions.
- Ensuring Corporate customers’ query related to Trade Finance are resolved within agreeable time.
- Preparing required reports for management and clients on facility utilization and performance of trade Finance products to support TF business.
- Work with Regulatory authorities to keep updated on any developments in construction and Telecom sector.
- Work closely with Wholesale Credit team and Trade Operations to ensure all TF facilities for corporate names are processed as per procedure and properly booked.
- Manage end to end process aiming at digitizing trade finance solutions
- Work with the Treasury Team and Market Risk Team to provide lead on all upcoming Foreign Currency requirements.
- Providing report to Line manager on challenges and obstacles encountered
- Providing creative ideas that will help in formulating sales strategy including taking part in design and delivery training and marketing of trade finance products.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good Knowledge of Trade Finance Products
- Good knowledge of structuring solutions.
- Understanding of customer segment segregation and practice.
- Understanding of industry, regulatory and professional bodies
- Good understanding of rules and regulations around TF products
- Strong Communication skills, both written and oral
- Good Business Planning skills
- Fair understanding of Project Management
- Good risk management, credit and Strong analytical skills
- Basic Computer skills
- Good interpersonal and networking skills
- Good Negotiation skills
- Understanding basic bank products
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- Trade Finance certifications is an added advantage
- Master’s degree in business studies is an added advantage
- Postgraduate/Masters in Banking and/or Banking certification(s) is an added advantage.
