Location: Accra Central
Salary: GHS 1,000–1,200 per month

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and responsible Shop Assistant to support the daily running of our shop. The role involves preparing and cleaning the shop, arranging stock, assisting customers, and carrying and loading goods from the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Help set up the shop for business each day and tidy up at closing.
• Keep the shop, storage areas and surroundings clean and organised.
• Arrange products neatly on shelves and replenish stock as needed.
• Carry, load and unload goods safely between the warehouse, shop and delivery vehicles.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and checking quantities and product condition.
• Help customers locate products and assist with packing purchases.
• Report damaged goods, stock shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Carry out other reasonable duties related to shop operations.

Requirements

• Honest, punctual, dependable and willing to learn.
• Able to carry and move goods safely, using assistance where necessary.
• Good communication skills and a polite, helpful attitude towards customers.
• Able to follow instructions and work well with others.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Previous experience in a shop or warehouse would be an advantage.
