Description

Artefact is an AI-native company fusing engineering-grade delivery with strategic consulting to drive high-impact results. We specialize in accelerating end-to-end data and AI transformation, helping enterprises turn marketing into a predictable engine for business growth across the value chain. From strategy to implementation, Artefact delivers bespoke, scalable AI solutions tailored to our clients' core business challenges.

Headquartered in Paris, Artefact operates across 27 countries with a global team of over 2,500 employees, partnering with leading international brands across luxury, retail, FMCG, industry, healthcare, and finance.

To support our rapid expansion, we are looking for a Chief of Staff to the Group CMO (Intern) to join our Global Marketing team starting in January 2027 for a minimum of 6 months.

The Role

Are you passionate about B2B marketing, tech innovation, and generative AI? Do you want to work in an environment where your contributions directly accelerate business growth?

As the Chief of Staff to the Group CMO (Intern), you will play a central role in driving Artefact’s flagship initiative: "AI-Augmented Marketing". This global project reshapes how our international marketing teams operate by embedding analytical rigor, agentic AI workflows, and operational excellence into everyday execution.

Working directly alongside the Group CMO, you will collaborate closely with regional marketing teams, data scientists, and business analysts worldwide. Fluency in English is essential, as you will lead international workshops, align stakeholders, and scale best practices across all Artefact entities.

What you will do

  1. Strategic orchestration: Support the Group CMO in executing the global AI-Augmented Marketing roadmap across three core pillars:
  • Analytics & strategy: Derive actionable insights from the marketing data platform to guide executive decision-making.
  • Agentic content workflows: Automate content operations by building and deploying an AI skill/agent library using tools such as Gemini Enterprise, Claude, and Lovable.
  • Global enablement: Scale adoption across international hubs by designing learning modules, documenting playbooks, and running hands-on training sessions in English.
  1. Go-to-market & revenue operations: Leverage AI tools and skills to optimize inbound and outbound funnels, drive pipeline velocity, and enhance Marketing-Sales alignment for sustained lead generation.
  2. Performance measurement & reporting: Build, maintain, and optimize full-funnel B2B performance dashboards (awareness, activation, ABM) to measure campaign ROI and surface continuous improvement opportunities.
  3. Operational excellence: Own and update cross-functional tracking tools, operational dashboards, and meeting cadences to maintain project momentum and organizational alignment.
  4. High-impact copywriting & editorial: Produce high-converting editorial assets (internal/external newsletters, landing pages, case studies, and thought leadership articles) while safeguarding brand tone and positioning.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s student from a top-tier Business School (Grande École de Commerce) or equivalent university program.
  • Analytical mindset: Strong data-driven problem-solving abilities; comfortable working with analytics platforms, data modeling, and reporting frameworks.
  • AI & Tech native: A genuine passion for emerging technologies, generative & agentic AI tools, and B2B growth marketing.
  • Communication & copywriting: Bilingual or fluent in English (both written and spoken) with exceptional writing skills across long-form, web, and newsletter formats.
  • Project management: High organizational agility, rigorous attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mindset: Proactive, autonomous, results-oriented, and excited to collaborate with cross-functional, international teams.

Additional Details

  • Start date: January 2027
  • Duration: 6 months minimum
  • Location: Paris Headquarters (with hybrid flexibility)
  • Salary : 1200€
  • Opportunity: High potential for conversion into a permanent contract (CDI) based on mutual fit and performance.

Artefact is an equal opportunity employer. We recruit solely based on merit and business needs, fostering an inclusive environment free from discrimination of any kind.
